Your journey begins in Porto, a city of granite and blue-and-white tile stacked steeply above

Met at the airport and settled into a heritage house in the old centre, you take your first evening gently, walking down through the lantern-lit lanes to the Ribeira waterfront as the sun drops behind the far bank and the city’s lights come on across
the water.
