Day 1
Welcome to Antananarivo
Arrive at Ivato International Airport and be greeted by our team. Transfer to your hotel and have a briefing with your driver and guide about the exciting journey ahead.
Day 2
Into the
Embark on a scenic drive towards Andasibe, stopping at Peyrieras Reserve to encounter chameleons, geckos, and other reptiles. In the afternoon, enjoy a lemur-spotting boat trip on Vakona Reserve’s lemur island.
Day 3
Andasib’s Primates
Explore Analamazaotra National Park, home to the Indri, the largest lemur in the world. Trek through the rainforest, observing various lemur species and other unique wildlife. The afternoon is free for village walks or relaxation.
Day 4
Highland Journey
Travel through the scenic highlands to Antsirabe, stopping at Ambatolampy to witness traditional aluminum cookware production. Arrive in Antsirabe, known for its thermal baths and rickshaws.
Day 5
Lakes and Crafts
Explore Antsirabe’s volcanic lakes and handicraft workshops in the morning. Continue south to Ambositra, the gateway to Zafimaniry country, passing through picturesque rice terraces.

Zafimaniry Woodcarving
Embark on an adventurous drive to a Zafimaniry village, renowned for its unique woodcarving traditions. Witness their intricate craftsmanship and enjoy a picnic lunch amidst this cultural gem.

Rainforest Haven
Journey further south to Ranomafana National Park, another rainforest sanctuary. Prepare for encounters with diverse lemur species and other fascinating wildlife.

Lemurs and Zebu
Trek through Ranomafana’s humid forests, searching for red-bellied lemurs, brown lemurs, and other primates. Continue to Ambalavao, known for its vibrant zebu market.

Ring-tailed Encounters & Isalo’s Majesty
Ring-tailed Encounters & Isalo’s Majesty Visit Anja Community Reserve, home to playful ring-tailed lemurs. Then, drive across a dramatic landscape to Isalo National Park, known for its sandstone formations and unique wildlife.
Day 10
Isalo’s Natural Wonders
Trek through Isalo’s canyons, discovering hidden waterfalls, natural pools, and ancient Bara tombs. Witness the breathtaking sunset over this otherworldly landscape.
Day 11
Coastal Transition
Journey to the coastal town of Mangily, passing through Ilakaka, Madagascar’s sapphire mining hub. Enjoy the changing scenery as you approach the Mozambique Channel.
Day 12
& 13Coastal Transition
Relax on the beautiful beaches of Mangily, or opt for optional marine activities. On day 13, visit the iconic Avenue of the Baobabs and witness a stunning sunset.

Farewell to Madagascar
